Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, it is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice done lying down usually tucked in bed ready to sleep, that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. I’ve heard that an hour of yoga nidra can be as restorative as four hours of regular sleep- It’s very deeply relaxing.
