Grout lines explained, width selection . How to decide what your tile spacing should be.

Grout lines explained, width selection . How to decide what your tile spacing should be. Grout lines, what is the right size for your tile/ Every tile job has to include a grout line between the tiles, picking what size the grout width should be is very important. The wrong width will make an otherwise nice tile job look bad. When deciding on a grout line there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration, you don't just pick a size and go with it. You have to determine the size of the grout spacing by the size shape and uniformity of the tile. If the tile you are installing is rectified, then a narrow grout space is a good option, however narrow grout lines mal not be a good choice for tiles that are only sorted by caliber. Tiles have a dye lot, a gauge and a caliber, these are very important considerations that need to be considered when picking a grout width. In this video I explain how to decide on a grout line width.
