MEDIFARM's founding director Adam Benjamin dedicated it’s opening to eight-year-old Sam Martin, who died from cancer in 2013. His dad, Mark Martin said medicinal cannabis helped his son in the final stages of his life when it wasn’t legal in Australia. “This is about helping patients who might have epilepsy, who might be suffering from cancer, post traumatic stress or in the palliative phases of life.” - Health Minister, Greg Hunt MP.
