Whether through an ingenious back-heel trick ahead of Robert Lewandowski's strike to make it 1-0, his deadly free-kicks, an assist for Ivan Perisic's goal or his own penalty-kick, the Brazilian proved what a major role he can play for the record German champions in the future. And he knew who to thank for his first Bundesliga goal. Presence, intelligent play and vision were the hallmarks of the 27-year-old Barcelona loanee’s performance and perfectly topped off Bayern's first Oktoberfest weekend.
