Mike Pompeo calls CNN report on Russian spy “egregious” and erroneous

At a Sept. 10 press conference, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was asked about a CNN story that the CIA has been forced to extract a CIA asset from Moscow because the agency feared President Trump would put the asset at risk. Pompeo, a former CIA director, said the report was wrong and either put lives at risk or was “egregious” in putting national security at risk. Will CNN own this mistake and apologize?
