HIV cases on the rise in the Philippines | Matters of Fact In this edition of #MattersofFact, a new study by the joint United Nations Program on HIV-AIDS showed that between 2010 and 2018, the number cases in the Philippines increased by at least 200%, the fastest in the world where the growth average was only 18%. What are we doing wrong here? Or are we not doing enough? Dr. Edsel Maurice Salvaña, director of the institute of molecular biology and biotechnology at the National Institutes of Health at the University of the Philippines Manila, shares his thoughts.
