Russia Offers Increased Ka-32 Helicopters to South Korea

Russia Offers Increased Ka-32 Helicopters to South Korea Russian helicopters will offer an increase in Ka-32 helicopters to South Korea, rotorcraft factory chief executive Andrei Boginsky said in an interview with TASS on Tuesday at the ADEX International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition in Seoul.

South Korea exploits helicopters produced in Russia's parent company, he said. "It was Ka-32 in the first place. The largest type of foreign helicopter park in the world is here. Various structures and agents of South Korea, as well as private companies, exploit more than 50 helicopters," he said.

"That is one of the main markets for us. The helicopter has been exploited for quite a long time, which is why we recognize the need to improve it. At the exhibition we presented the results of our work in improving the Ka-32 and what we will do. Offering Korean customers we are in the near future, "the CEO noted.
