Hi, I'm Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett. I serve as Vice President of Unity Prayer and Practice at Unity World Headquarters at Unity Village outside of Kansas City, Missouri. One of my primary responsibilities is providing leadership for Silent Unity, Unity’s worldwide 24/7 prayer ministry. We have an opportunity that I want you to hear about.

So I'm looking for a Director of Silent Unity, which is the highest level of leadership in Silent Unity. The Director of Silent Unity provides support to the entire prayer ministry. In other words, all the operations, the hiring, training, and developing of all the staff at multiple levels—everyone from the Prayer Associates to supervisory staff and managers.

So we're looking for a strong candidate, someone with a very strong Unity background or New Thought background that has a strong prayer consciousness and affirmative prayer development. At the same time, we're looking for someone with very strong and demonstrable skills in operating a business such as ours, an organization of about a hundred people with multiple levels of staffing. This is very important because Silent Unity also operates in a businesslike setting in order to be effective and efficient and to provide the greatest service that we can to the world around us—to the 2.4 million prayer requesters. These two characteristics form really the crux of what we're going to need for the leadership going forward.
