FDNY Happy Hookers respond to Box 1282 Take 1

FDNY Happy Hookers respond to Box 1282 Take 1 We are at quarters of FDNY Engine 279 and Tower Ladder 131, also known as the Happy Hookers, at 252 Lorraine Street, where we see the engine as they respond 3rd due to Box 1282 at 263 Prospect Avenue between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue (shown on the MDT as 253 Prospect Avenue) for fire on a rooftop. The fire ended up being on the roof of a catering hall and went 10-75, but we'll see that in the next video. Engine 220 and Engine 239 were 1st due and 2nd due engines respectively. Ladder 122 and Tower Ladder 131 were 1st due and 2nd due trucks respectively. Battalion 48 rounded out the initial first assignment. However, as Engine 279 was going out the door, they were told to remain in service. Ladder 131 continued in, and was responding from another run, as evidenced by their absence from the firehouse. Anyway, Engine 279 is a 2016 KME Severe Service Predator. Enjoy the sounds of the companies as they get toned out, despite not seeing the engine actually go on the run just yet. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on December 20th, 2019.
