People in Rajouri aghast over poor healthcare services in GMC Associated District Hospital. Patients expressed grave concern over inadequate diagnostic facilities especially C.T Scan machine, Digital X-RAY machine, Blood test in Government Medical College and Associated Hospital (GMC) , Rajouri and alleged that the patients are forced to carry out tests in private clinics.
While Interacting with our Correspondent, Patients and attendants said the GMC and Associated hospital, Rajouri is having only one C.T Scan machine which is not functioning from more than 5 months, Digital X-RAY machine is also not in working mode, Blood tests (CBC, KFT etc) not available from 7 days, Defunct Elevator , which is quite inadequate for taking care of huge number of patients.
They said health services being a priority sector, due attention is required to be given in order to make available diagnostic facilities and medicines to patients.
They also urged the Governor’s Administration to look into this matter of immense public importance.
